GMS Advance Orlando – Unlock Your Next Level of Golf with GMS Advance

GMS Advance is designed for Golfers who have previously attended GMS and want to take their game to the course.

Where our original program (GMS Core Principles) focused on building and refining your swing through drills and repetition, GMS Advance goes a step further. This program is about building your swing to be golf course ready, as opposed to repeatedly hitting the same club on the range.

How is GMS Advance Different?

Unlike GMS Core Principles, which builds a strong, repeatable swing through structured drills, GMS Advance goes to the next step to better ensure your swing holds up under real course conditions.

Here’s how the programs break down:

GMS Core Principles
Our foundational program where you developed the essential mechanics of a repeatable swing. This class involved:

  • Drills that refine your swing with repetition to create “muscle memory.”
  • Emphasis on building solid impact with your swing, by syncing your body and the club’s movements, while diagnosing your swing using facts rather than theories and assumptions.
  • Putting focused on developing your feel for distance control using length of swing, pace of swing and centerness of hit.
  • On-course Instruction focused reading the golf course so you develop a Players strategy beyond aiming for the middle of the fairway or at the flag.
GMS Refresher
This program serves as a tune-up for alumni of GMS Core Principles. While not a repeat of Core Principles … you’ll refresh your game using Principle techniques at a more fluid pace than your original GMS program. Revisit and reinforce what you learned in Core Principles … while introducing a deeper understanding of how these principles apply to your individual swing, putting, sand, etc.

Adding another dimension to your On-course Instruction by understanding aiming strategies for each tee box, mental strategies to lower anxiety prior to each shot, as well as more detailed green reading techniques.

GMS Advance
Now, let’s talk about GMS Advance—a course designed for GMS Alumni who want to bring their best game to the course more often. The Advance program further solidifies your game by going beyond what you learned in GMS Core Principles. It’s not about repeating drills you have already learned, but rather about using range tactics to improve your swing for the golf course.

This involves GMS drills you haven’t yet used or learned while integrating them into golf course scenarios on each and every shot. These are skills you can immediately apply to the golf course for more consistency and better scores.
