Included with Spain Golf Schools

Unlike the typical “30-minute, once-a-week golf lesson,” our program immerses you in extended instruction. GMS allows for deep dives into both mechanics and mental aspects of the game, providing ample time to make significant, lasting changes.

Our teaching philosophy is to give you uninterrupted time with your instructor, ensuring that your progress is not just temporary but becomes a permanent improvement in your game. The extended sessions help avoid the common disappointment of seeing short-term gains vanish over time.

Transitioning from the practice area to an actual golf course is a crucial step in improving your game. Our program includes on-course instruction where you will play six holes with your instructor by your side, much like the experience of PGA/LPGA Tour Players have with their coaches.

This real-time coaching helps you to immediately apply what you’ve learned in practice, addressing not only your swing but also course management, club selection, mental toughness, and pre-shot routines. Our goal is to tailor your instruction to simulate actual game conditions, ensuring your improvements translate seamlessly onto the course.

We believe in the power of personalized instruction, which is why we limit each class to only four golfers. This small group setting allows our instructors to focus on your individual needs, providing tailored feedback and specific improvements for your unique swing.

The intimate class size fosters a personalized coaching environment where each golfer receives the right amount of one-on-one attention without the risk of “over teaching.” This approach ensures that each student can digest the instruction at their own pace, leading to more effective learning and greater improvement.

Improvement isn’t just about refining your swing mechanics; it’s about developing a robust PLAN that you can carry forward. Our program equips you with a comprehensive strategy for ongoing improvement, designed to make sure the changes you make stick long term.

You’ll learn how to adapt these improvements on the course and integrate them into your regular play. By focusing on both immediate and sustainable progress, we ensure that you leave with a clear roadmap for continuous improvement, solidifying your gains and allowing you to build on them over time.

As part of our commitment to your ongoing improvement, we provide access to the GMS Player Page, an online resource filled with drills and instructions. This valuable tool includes detailed explanations for swing drills, putting drills, and green reading techniques, enabling you to continue practicing and honing your skills even after you’ve left our golf school.

This repository of knowledge ensures that you have the support you need to maintain and further your progress, offering a constant reference point for your practice and self-improvement efforts.

Each day, we provide the opportunity to enjoy lunch with your instructor. This relaxed setting allows for informal conversations where you can digest the morning’s instruction and discuss your progress. It’s a chance to ask questions, express concerns, and gain further insights into your game outside of the structured learning environment.

This personal interaction reinforces the bond between instructor and golfer, making the learning experience more holistic and enjoyable.

  1. Proven Results: Our methods have a track record of success, with an impressive improvement rate among our golfers. Our focus on individualized, intensive instruction alongside a comprehensive improvement plan ensures that our golfers see significant, measurable progress in their games.

  2. Top-Rated: Golf Made Simple is recognized among the top three golf schools nationwide, out of 133 golf schools and 28,000 PGA professionals. This recognition is a testament to our dedication to quality instruction and our ability to consistently deliver outstanding results.

  3. Comprehensive Learning: Every day of our program is carefully designed to blend range instruction with on-course playing, offering a holistic approach to learning. This combination ensures that you’re not only improving your swing but also your overall game strategy and mental approach to golf.

3-Day Schedule

*Listed times may vary based on location and weather

DAY ONE

BALL STRIKING – 9:00-12:30
You will be working on the Four Factors of your golf swing. This will allow you to strike the golf ball better than you ever have, along with learning to feel your golf swing so that you can understand the Strengths, Weaknesses and Corrections that are necessary to make a consistent golf swing.

You’ll be working on some excellent GMS drills that will allow you to make incredible improvement. The first thing you’ll feel and notice is that you’ll be making more solid contact with the golf ball on every golf swing. You’re guaranteed to hear “Wow, that feels good!” from a Golfer within the first 15 minutes.

You will be striking the golf ball more solid in the first 15 minutes of Day One than you ever have before! And that will continue throughout the day and into Day Two.

LUNCH – 12:30-1:30
Lunch with your Instructor.

YOUR PLAN – 1:00-2:00
You’re back on the practice area with your Instructor working on your PLAN and how to “visualize” your golf shot before even hitting it. You will learn to PLAN your shot using the GMS Visualization Technique – ‘See It, Feel It, Do It’.

You’ll be working on ‘See It, Feel It, Do It’ as you’re learning to control the height you hit your golf ball with your wedges around the green. Using this Technique – you’ll be learning how to become more skilled around the green by learning to create backspin so that you can play either a controlled low shot that stops after a couple of hops, a medium shot with a little roll and/or a high shot that sits softly.

This hour is so valuable in your quest for consistency. Unfortunately, many Golfers have the bad habit of leaving their golf swing on the driving range – this session will help you to take your golf swing onto the golf course.

ON-COURSE INSTRUCTION – 2:30-3:45
You will go on the golf course to play 6 holes of golf while your Instructor works with you to continue the improvements you made in the morning. The hardest thing for a Golfer to do is to bring his/her driving range swing onto the golf course … so your Instructor will be working with you so that you strike the ball better on the golf course.

Your Instructor does not play – they are focused on your golf game and helping you to play your best. So if you do hit a bad shot where you reverted back to a bad habit – your Instructor will be there to help you overcome this before your next swing. This will allow you to self diagnose your bad golf swings when you get back home and allow you to self correct – virtually eliminating blow-up holes.

You will love this part of the day because you’ll be working with your Instructor and playing better than ever on the golf course.

CHALK TALK REVIEW – 3:45-4:00
A review of the day, as well as preview of Day Two. Reflect on the day, ask questions, take notes and talk about what to expect for Day Two.

DAY TWO

YOUR GOLF SWING – 9:00-11:30
You will get even deeper into your golf swing and the movements to create consistency. From Irons to Driver you’ll improve your swing. Each Drill leads into the next Drill so that your golf swing gets progressively better and more effective.

PUTTING – 11:30-12:30
An improved putting stroke maybe the fastest way to improve your score. So in our quest to help you make more 1 putts – you’ll be learning to have total control over your putting stroke on the way back and through. Being able to do this is critical to improving your putting stroke (and your scores).

Many Golfers aren’t as in control of their putting stroke as they need to be, which causes you to miss-hit the golf ball. And although a miss-hit with your putter isn’t as obvious as a miss-hit with you Driver – it wastes just as many strokes. A miss-hit putt doesn’t mean a wayward putt … in-other-words: if you’re constantly ending 3 feet short of the hole or going 5 feet by the hole – you’re miss-hitting your putts. Constantly ending up short of the hole usually isn’t just a function of not putting the ball hard enough; just as going too much past the hole doesn’t just mean you hit the ball too hard. There’s so much more that goes into better putting.

LUNCH – 12:30-1:30
Lunch with your Instructor.

GREEN READING – 1:30-2:30
This is often the most talked about part of our program. Most Golfers only know how to squat down to look at the green to know which way the slope is going.

Good Green Reading goes well beyond whether the ball will ‘break’ to the left or right. GMS helps you to feel the green and understand how speed affects break. And you’ll start to use these new Green Reading techniques as soon as you hit the golf course around 2:30 pm.

ON-COURSE INSTRUCTION – 2:30-3:45
You will go on the golf course to play another 6 holes of golf while your Instructor works with you to continue the improvements you made in the morning and on Day One. This is a continuation of the On-Course Instruction completed on Day One … further enhancing your ability to take your driving range swing onto the golf course successfully.

CHALK TALK REVIEW – 3:45-4:00
Reflect on the day, ask questions, take notes and talk about what to expect for Day Three.

DAY THREE

DRIVER – 9:00-11:30
This is the next progression to a better Driver Swing and Full Swing. Again the drills you use today are a continuation from the Day One and Day Two Drills.

PUTTING – 11:30-12:30
Day Three is a continuation of Day Two where you started with learning how to control your putter to control your stroke all the way back and through. You learned how to hit in the center of the putter face consistently and how being just an 1/8th of an inch away from the center could cause you to have a 15 foot putt stop 5 feet short of the hole (risking a 3 putt). Today you will take this a step farther.

LUNCH – 12:30-1:30
Lunch with your Instructor.

SAND BUNKER – 1:30-2:30
You will be learning the simplest, most effective method to getting out of the sand bunker. Most Golfers struggle getting out of the sand. You will be getting out in one shot before you know it. You will be using the GMS Four Levels of Bunker Play to become a skilled Golfer out of the sand.

ON-COURSE INSTRUCTION – 2:30-3:45
You’ll be focused on bringing your best golf swing onto the course and further establishing your PLAN.

CHALK TALK REVIEW – 3:45-4:00
Reflect on the day, ask questions, take notes and talk about your personal PLAN for long-term improvement.

This is a review of your keys to success and a look forward to how you’re going to use specific drills to continue improving once you get back home.

By practicing this, you will find your “go-to” shot for when you need to hit that ball close and make the one-putt. Plus, we reinforce the ball striking factors you learned on day one.

Top off your water bottles, rest up, and stretch out in preparation for the course.
