3-Day Schedule

*Listed times may vary based on location and weather

DAY ONE

BALL STRIKING – 9:00-12:30
You will be working on the Four Factors of your golf swing. This will allow you to strike the golf ball better than you ever have, along with learning to feel your golf swing so that you can understand the Strengths, Weaknesses and Corrections that are necessary to make a consistent golf swing.

You’ll be working on some excellent GMS drills that will allow you to make incredible improvement. The first thing you’ll feel and notice is that you’ll be making more solid contact with the golf ball on every golf swing. You’re guaranteed to hear “Wow, that feels good!” from a Golfer within the first 15 minutes.

You will be striking the golf ball more solid in the first 15 minutes of Day One than you ever have before! And that will continue throughout the day and into Day Two.

LUNCH – 12:30-1:30
Lunch with your Instructor.

YOUR PLAN – 1:00-2:00
You’re back on the practice area with your Instructor working on your PLAN and how to “visualize” your golf shot before even hitting it. You will learn to PLAN your shot using the GMS Visualization Technique – ‘See It, Feel It, Do It’.

You’ll be working on ‘See It, Feel It, Do It’ as you’re learning to control the height you hit your golf ball with your wedges around the green. Using this Technique – you’ll be learning how to become more skilled around the green by learning to create backspin so that you can play either a controlled low shot that stops after a couple of hops, a medium shot with a little roll and/or a high shot that sits softly.

This hour is so valuable in your quest for consistency. Unfortunately, many Golfers have the bad habit of leaving their golf swing on the driving range – this session will help you to take your golf swing onto the golf course.

ON-COURSE INSTRUCTION – 2:30-3:45
You will go on the golf course to play 6 holes of golf while your Instructor works with you to continue the improvements you made in the morning. The hardest thing for a Golfer to do is to bring his/her driving range swing onto the golf course … so your Instructor will be working with you so that you strike the ball better on the golf course.

Your Instructor does not play – they are focused on your golf game and helping you to play your best. So if you do hit a bad shot where you reverted back to a bad habit – your Instructor will be there to help you overcome this before your next swing. This will allow you to self diagnose your bad golf swings when you get back home and allow you to self correct – virtually eliminating blow-up holes.

You will love this part of the day because you’ll be working with your Instructor and playing better than ever on the golf course.

CHALK TALK REVIEW – 3:45-4:00
A review of the day, as well as preview of Day Two. Reflect on the day, ask questions, take notes and talk about what to expect for Day Two.

DAY TWO

YOUR GOLF SWING – 9:00-11:30
You will get even deeper into your golf swing and the movements to create consistency. From Irons to Driver you’ll improve your swing. Each Drill leads into the next Drill so that your golf swing gets progressively better and more effective.

PUTTING – 11:30-12:30
An improved putting stroke maybe the fastest way to improve your score. So in our quest to help you make more 1 putts – you’ll be learning to have total control over your putting stroke on the way back and through. Being able to do this is critical to improving your putting stroke (and your scores).

Many Golfers aren’t as in control of their putting stroke as they need to be, which causes you to miss-hit the golf ball. And although a miss-hit with your putter isn’t as obvious as a miss-hit with you Driver – it wastes just as many strokes. A miss-hit putt doesn’t mean a wayward putt … in-other-words: if you’re constantly ending 3 feet short of the hole or going 5 feet by the hole – you’re miss-hitting your putts. Constantly ending up short of the hole usually isn’t just a function of not putting the ball hard enough; just as going too much past the hole doesn’t just mean you hit the ball too hard. There’s so much more that goes into better putting.

LUNCH – 12:30-1:30
Lunch with your Instructor.

GREEN READING – 1:30-2:30
This is often the most talked about part of our program. Most Golfers only know how to squat down to look at the green to know which way the slope is going.

Good Green Reading goes well beyond whether the ball will ‘break’ to the left or right. GMS helps you to feel the green and understand how speed affects break. And you’ll start to use these new Green Reading techniques as soon as you hit the golf course around 2:30 pm.

ON-COURSE INSTRUCTION – 2:30-3:45
You will go on the golf course to play another 6 holes of golf while your Instructor works with you to continue the improvements you made in the morning and on Day One. This is a continuation of the On-Course Instruction completed on Day One … further enhancing your ability to take your driving range swing onto the golf course successfully.

CHALK TALK REVIEW – 3:45-4:00
Reflect on the day, ask questions, take notes and talk about what to expect for Day Three.

DAY THREE

DRIVER – 9:00-11:30
This is the next progression to a better Driver Swing and Full Swing. Again the drills you use today are a continuation from the Day One and Day Two Drills.

PUTTING – 11:30-12:30
Day Three is a continuation of Day Two where you started with learning how to control your putter to control your stroke all the way back and through. You learned how to hit in the center of the putter face consistently and how being just an 1/8th of an inch away from the center could cause you to have a 15 foot putt stop 5 feet short of the hole (risking a 3 putt). Today you will take this a step farther.

LUNCH – 12:30-1:30
Lunch with your Instructor.

SAND BUNKER – 1:30-2:30
You will be learning the simplest, most effective method to getting out of the sand bunker. Most Golfers struggle getting out of the sand. You will be getting out in one shot before you know it. You will be using the GMS Four Levels of Bunker Play to become a skilled Golfer out of the sand.

ON-COURSE INSTRUCTION – 2:30-3:45
You’ll be focused on bringing your best golf swing onto the course and further establishing your PLAN.

CHALK TALK REVIEW – 3:45-4:00
Reflect on the day, ask questions, take notes and talk about your personal PLAN for long-term improvement.

This is a review of your keys to success and a look forward to how you’re going to use specific drills to continue improving once you get back home.
