GMS Advance is designed for Golfers who have previously attended GMS and want to take their game to the course.
Where our original program (GMS Core Principles) focused on building and refining your swing through drills and repetition, GMS Advance goes a step further. This program is about building your swing to be golf course ready, as opposed to repeatedly hitting the same club on the range.
How is GMS Advance Different?
Unlike GMS Core Principles, which builds a strong, repeatable swing through structured drills, GMS Advance goes to the next step to better ensure your swing holds up under real course conditions.
Here’s how the programs break down:
GMS Core Principles
Our foundational program where you developed the essential mechanics of a repeatable swing. This class involved:
8:30 am – Start your day
Meet your Instructor for warm-up and instruction, focused on swing consistency and course-readiness techniques.
11:45 am – Lunch Break
Recharge and discuss your progress over lunch with your Instructor and fellow Golfers
12:45 pm – Afternoon Instruction
Head back to the practice area to focus on putting (long and short putts), sand bunker, and uneven lies for short game (used in 3 day program)
2:00 pm – On-Course Instruction (6 holes)
Apply your morning lessons to the course, where you’ll practice the routine you’ve built with GMS Advance techniques—tailored to help you translate to your individualized swing from practice to play
3:30 pm – Independent Play
Finish the day by completing the final 3 holes independently, reinforcing your new skills in real-game situations
2-Day GMS Advance
This intensive program covers essential GMS Advance techniques to help you bring consistency and confidence to your game, including a reliable and simple, Pro-inspired routine. You’ll work on every club in your bag with a focus on advancing your swing for the course.
3-Day GMS Advance
With an additional day, the 3 day includes everything from the 2 day, plus extra time to work with your Instructor on specialty short game shots and further solidify your progress on the range, putting green and course. This added day allows for even more in-depth practice on the range, as well as giving you the tools to master uphill, downhill, and side-hill short game shots, along with solidifying important course management strategies for better scores (and less blow-up holes).
With only 4 spots available per session, GMS Advance offers a highly individualized experience. Our Instructors tailor each session to your needs, ensuring that your game develops in ways that benefit your unique swing and goals.
