Improve How You Get Through The Ball Without A Club

There are three ways to improve how you get through the ball without a golf club:

  • You can buy new equipment
  • You can take lessons and practice
  • Improve the machine (you) which allows #1 & #2 to create better consistency and power

Your golf clubs are only as good as you allow them to be. They don’t swing themselves! The person holding the club determines how well the club hits the golf ball.

Lessons and practice can help you to improve … however, if your body hinders you from swinging through the golf ball easily … are you going to be able to use all the new, good information you learned with lessons and practice?

Use the winter off-season to improve what you’re able to do with your golf swing. Many bad swing mechanics can be attributed to not having a feel, or ability to get through the golf ball with the least amount of resistance from your body!

Is it solely a lack of golf swing knowledge that’s holding you back? Or is it a combination of swing mechanics, combined with not allowing your body to flow more naturally?

Being able to hit the golf ball better is possible … it isn’t a myth!
Yet, golf lesson after golf lesson and swing tip after swing tip … most Golfers don’t realize much improvement after 2 or 3 years of trying to improve. Why is this?
Our golf swing can only function as well as our body and mind allow. Let’s start with your body. Compared to your 25 year old self … are you currently more flexible or less? Are you stronger or less? As coordinated or less?
It’s the same on the PGA & LPGA Tours … the 25 year olds can often be much more athletic hitting the golf ball farther distances than the 40+ years olds (Mickelson & Woods). Though, these 40+ year olds are also hitting the ball farther than their younger self’s … as they’re working on their bodies to improve their golf swing (as they also improve their quality of life as they progress in the years going forward).
