The Lodge of Four Seasons
The Lodge of Four Seasons, sitting on 350 scenic acres overlooking the lake, underwent an update in 2015 to update the resort’s three buildings, the indoor/outdoor pool, the different dining options and even the Lodge’s 50-foot indoor waterfall and koi pond.
Guest rooms in the lodge feature balconies or patios, and many have views of the lake. Or you can upgrade to an Avila Suite which offers plenty of space to spread out in one or two bedrooms. They also feature a fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room. In addition, both bathrooms have Jacuzzi tubs and a separate shower.
Dining options include HK’s Restaurant and Bar, which features floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the Japanese Gardens and of the Lake of the Ozarks main channel. Guests can also dine at the more casual Shutters at the Lake restaurant. Other on-site attractions include Spa Shiki; Travel + Leisure says “exotic treatments from around the world are the hallmark of this lakeside retreat.”
After an afternoon of pampering at the spa or spent on the links, rent a boat and head out on the lake for a fishing trip. Guests can also play tennis, rent bikes for a ride along the lakefront, or even reserve a round of skeet shooting. The resort is also home to an indoor and outdoor pool, so swimming is always in season. For a relaxing evening, head to the 250-seat movie theater and catch a flick.
