"I Went From A 38 Handicap To An 18 Handicap!"

Dear Alex,

First of all give my nicest regards to Sam. He did a perfect job during my stay at Lake Tahoe. After finishing the course I had the chance to play some rounds
at my home course in Germany. Fascinating, I made my goals. I gained about 20 yards with my driver, and about 10 yards in average with all of my Irons.

My friends were all looking into your webpage in the meantime, they could not believe in my success.

Taking into consideration my age (59 years now), starting the first training with you a few years ago as a 38 handicapper, I am now proud to be an 18 handicapper. Playing consistently around 90.

See you again,

Kind regards,

"From A 33 Handicap To A 21 Handicap!"

Based in Switzerland, I was searching for a golf instruction that really was different from the “one swing fits all” or “mechanics-driven” that really does nothing for scoring. Through the discovery of the GMS web site, I immediately noticed that GMS was different.

I signed up for a January 2007 date in Florida and must say that the results were immediate. The “Plan” approach is really effective in that one chooses the shot according to a strategy that can be adapted to your current level. I immediately saw the results as I played a course in Miami during my transit back to Switzerland. I broke 100 for the first time (I was a 33 handicap at the time) on a course I never had played before.

My handicap has since improved to a 21 and I apply the Plan in all my tournaments. I have won three and have come in the top 10 many times. Even on “off “days, sticking to the Plan limits the bad scoring to a honorable level.

Also, I have taken advantage of the teacher for life programme and already had 2 phone calls with Hayden and Jeff. My game has sharply improved in the last two months thanks to their remote coaching.

“Champions & A Hole-in-One!”

Hi Marc and Alex,

I did GMS with Terri Behrens, Deb Wente, Anne Schroeder, and Wat a few years ago.  Just wanted you to know that my golf game continues to improve as I think about tick-tock. It has been a great summer! Terri and I were on the winning Northeast Wisconsin Golf Association's  lady's champion team, and I had a hole-in-one yesterday at Timberstone in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

I hope your summer was wonderful!

"My Best Score Yet!”

Jeff,

Just wanted to give you an update.  Things have been going well.

The last 2 times I played I scored 49 and yesterday 45 - my best score yet!

All the drives were between 210 and 235-240, I'd say avg 225, and were in play.

I am working on the 30, 60 and 90 yard shots, as once I get past the red pole (100 and in) if I get the ball on the green in reg, I score a par or bogey, if I hit, and then chip on the green, it's usually a double bogey.

I am practicing the drills, and the Modified Belly Swing seems to be the best for my driver.

Cheers –

Here are my average scores as a quick glance:

"I Improved My Score 8 Strokes!"

Alex:

I will like to thank you for the three days of the training program that I took part on in Denver.  James is a really good instructor that has the patience and clarity in his explanations and gave me a lot of confidence during my game.

I had a lot of curiosity to verify that what I had learned in the academy will work in a regular game.

This weekend I went Saturday and Sunday to try it out and the improvement in my second shots and my short game was surprising!

Both days I improved my score eight strokes. It really works!

Thanks again. I’m really excited with the results.

"My First 90 Ever - And With A 25 Handicap!"

GMS - On July 26 I went out and shot a 44-46 at Sunningdale, my club in Scarsdale, NY for my first 90 ever.

This was a total breakthrough round for me, the owner of a 25 handicap. Ironically, if I had entered the tournament that weekend, I would have won by several strokes. I am in the tournament this Sunday and I am very excited!

Thank you for teaching me to be a Player. I know that I have turned the corner in every sense of the word, and my bad rounds are all in the past. Thank you everyone at GMS!!!

Yours in great golfing forever!

"2nd Place On Ladies Day and 1st Place With My Husband!"

Hi Sam - It's been a busy week of golf.  I won second place on Tuesday during Ladies day - low net. Then this past weekend my husband and I won first place.

First time we have ever won first. Usually I do not contribute many shots, but I actually birdied one hole on my own. We are on our way to Wisconsin to play Whistling straits.  Take care.

Oh, I am also doing the 29 ball drill and my putts were really good.

Thank you,

"4 Pars In 9 Holes - Previously Pars Were Rare For Me!"

Jeff,

My experience with James was surely more than I had expected.  I now know what most of my previous mistakes have been and how to correct them.

I played today with one of my regulars and the improvement showed by scoring 4 pars for 9 holes.   Previously pars were rare for me.  I can't remember ever having more that two in a single 9 holes and even one was a very good round.

"I Shot A 96 And A 94!"

Good Morning Jeff,

I must report that following school my golf has really improved, I shot 96 at split rock this past weekend and 94 about 2 weeks before that.

An important fact that you should know and I attribute to you is that over the last 3 weekends I have chipped in three balls and had another two stop one inch shy of dropping !!!!!!!  I'm loving it!! My playing partners are amazed; as a matter of fact Tom now says when he has a chip he's going to “Lenny Scozzari” it.

"I Can't Imagine Having Learned From Anyone Else!"

Hi Jeff,

Are your ears burning?  I’ve been telling everyone about your instruction at GMS.  I told the people in the pro shop at a golf course in Ft. Lauderdale so they might think to recommend the GMS if anyone should ask about lessons; I told the guy at the golf store, I told the manager of the hotel who does play a little golf and he said he might even treat himself to the course, and I’ve told some friends.  A couple of our friends caught my enthusiasm and said maybe they should take up golf, and of course, I told them they’d have to go to GMS.

The reason I’m so excited is because I left GMS feeling confident and excited about playing golf.  Mark and I practiced on Tuesday and played on Wednesday (after our 29 Ball Warm-up), and I was so excited because I had a pretty good game.  I did a really good job and now I ‘m just excited to play again.   We’re looking for golf clubs for me this afternoon.

I can’t thank you enough.  I can’t imagine having learned from anyone else.  You have the best temperament and humor and instruction and all three of us so enjoyed our experience with you so much!  Plus, you recommend the best restaurants!

So thank you again, Jeff, for doing such an excellent job!  I really can’t believe I am this excited about golf (although I think Mark’s even more excited about my enthusiasm).

To your best health,

"The Best Instructor We Have Ever Had!"

Dear GMS,

My husband and I attended GMS in Phoenix on April 27-29. James was absolutely awesome. My husband said he was the best instructor he had ever had and I would have to agree. We are still on vacation so have been using the techniques on unfamiliar courses - can't wait to get back to our home course in Saudi Arabia to see how things have improved.

One significant improvement that I have noticed so far is in my putting. The techniques and drills we learned at GMS were extremely helpful. Thank you James!!

"My First Time Breaking 100!"

Marc,

I shot a 99 today on my home course; the first time I've broken 100.  My friends are at Boca this weekend and I got a text message this morning telling me what a great time they had yesterday and that they couldn't wait to get out there today.

My plan has been to get to a point where I'm consistently breaking 100 and then come back for the Level 1.5 course.  I feel like the tools I left with should get me to a point where I'm breaking 100 consistently.

"A 97 On A Course I Had Never Been Below 104!"

Hi Alex,

"I spent some time with the drills with my driver and it helped tremendously. I also concentrated on my "tick tock".

I played yesterday, hit 10 out of 14 fairways and scored a 97 on a course I had never been below 104 on before. I have been working hard on my drills and focusing a lot on my short game.  I'll keep working..."

"I Have Shed My Monkey Ways!"

Hi Alex and Jeff,

I just wanted to say thanks for three wonderful days of golf instruction at Amelia Island with Jeff. I must congratulate Jeff on is his patience and fortitude.  Jeff's instructions and GMS methods are right on. Your name says it all.  Golf is Simple, if taught in a simplified easy to learn system.

Personally, I got more out of these three days than I have learned in over the last 10 years

I have shed my Monkey Ways. Now, I understand that if things go wrong, I know how to fix it.  It was a lot of work, but I know I came away with a Plan, Excellent practice drills, and a Tick-Tock that I will use all the time.

Thanks for making golf a lot more fun again.

"You Are An Amazing Organization!"

GMS - I came to GMS having hacked around golf courses with friends and in benefit outings.  So I had no real instruction, I did not know what to expect.  I was overwhelmed (in a good way) by the effectiveness of your drills and the immediate improvement and success I realized during the three days.

Scott has a definite gift, his knowledge of the game and ability to translate his knowledge to different types of learners is amazing. If all of the GMS instructors are like him, then you are an amazing organization and will be forever successful.

I can't wait to get out on the course and see if I can do as well at home. Thanks for an incredible experience that I will not soon forget.

"I Broke 100 For The 1st Time!"

Hi Marc,

I did what you said. Went out on Sunday morning, had one birdie (I chipped straight into the hole) and 3 pars in a row and I broke 100! I shot 99 and that is with a 10, and two 8's. YEAH!! I even had a par on a 3 par, which included a shot out of the sand.

I am so thrilled and motivated to keep it up!

Thanks for everything!

"I Scored Under 100 For The 1st Time!"

Yes, I panicked today at Eagle Falls!!  Only because everyone knew I had taken lessons -- I had a blow-up hole on #1, I then settled down and had a really good round and scored under 100 for the first time ever!  A 98! My first round after attending GMS!

Jim was also impressed.  At the end of the round everyone complained about the putting greens being "too" fast - I smiled and didn't say anything - I only had ONE 3 putt!! I was thrilled to say the least.  The couple we golfed with were so vocal about how well I was DRIVING the ball - actually I crushed the ball on most holes and my 7 iron was incredible.

The sand wedge was also so impressive to our group and for all the above I thank you again.  I will go to the driving range again (went early today and did my 29 Ball Warmup).

"I Won My Golf Game With The Ladies!"

Hi Chuck,

Thank you for your email giving me advice about my Driver.  I WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT IT WORKED. What a relief, I cannot believe how easy that was to do over email, but seeing is believing.

Because of how well I was hitting the golf ball, I won my golf game with the ladies this morning.  I had great tempo and have found that running the Golf Made Simple DVD and doing the drills before I headed out was so much more beneficial than going to a crowded range where everybody is hitting their balls frantically.  Doing that often makes me anxious.  So I arrived this morning feeling that I had good tempo after doing my drills indoors whilst watching the DVD.  I had my tick tock and kept it.

Best wishes to you all at Golf Made Simple,

"I Have Never Hit The Golf Ball So Well!"

Hi Sam,

Just wanted to let you know that I played at Heritage Palms yesterday and shot 46 on the back. It included 2 birdies and 2 pars. I have NEVER HIT THE GOLF BALL SO WELL! My irons have straightened out completely and I'm hitting at least 1/2 to 1 full club farther than before. The only reason I didn't score even better is because my shots are going straight and long and I'm not used to that.

Overall my enjoyment on the golf course has increased remarkably. Yesterday was the most fun I've had playing golf in years. Thanks for all your help and patience.
Take care and thanks for making golf enjoyable again.

Dennis F – Alberta, Canada – Sent February 2nd, 2009

Attended La Quinta location on January 26th to 28th, 2009

PS: the friend I played with yesterday was shocked at how much better I was striking the golf ball compared to the last time we played together. He doesn't believe that just 3 days of coaching could make that much improvement. If you remember the back to back 7 irons I hit on #9 the first day of lessons, well I was hitting 80+% of my iron shots dead straight like that. I hit several sand wedges 100 yards with less than 5' of roll on the green!! And the best part was I don't think I made more than 2 back to back bad shots all day. I think my friend may be a potential client.

"I Had A Great Summer Of Golf!"

Alex, I must tell you between my 2 visits to GMS (first time with Hayden and second time with Paul) - I took lessons hoping to continue where Hayden left off.  That was a major mistake.  Paul had his hands full reversing the bad habits or misconceptions that had been beaten into my head from my instructor at home.

So I vowed when I left Paul that I would never listen to anyone again, unless of course that they were affiliated with GMS. Thus, I had a great summer last year golfing and not listening to the "monkeys" which are lurking around every corner.  I hope to continue improving and refreshing my game with the instructors from GMS.

Again, I appreciate you giving us the opportunity to meet with Jeff during our visit to Arizona.

"I Thought The Instruction Was Excellent!"

Hello Alex and Jeff,

I attended a 3 day class on June 23, 2008 at Lake Tahoe along with my two brothers.  I thought the instruction was excellent.

I have found that staying with the "plan" and remaining as consistent as possible has proven to allow me improvement in my playing.  I have improved in my ability to play the game and I feel I am continuing to improve.

My brothers and I have been talking about getting together and having another class again this summer. I can not see how Golf Made Simple would not help everyone that comes to see you.  It is an excellent program!

"I Went From Over 100 Into The 80's!"

Hello GMS - I took GMS in Lake Tahoe in 2007. At that time my goal was to break 100. I am now in the mid to low 90's. I have even broken 90 sometimes and have made it into the mid 80's.

GMS cleared the monkey talk and helped me focus. Tick Tock baby and NO 3 putts. I love it!

Give my best regards to Jeff.
